Day 17 Care . . . soil surface was “cultivated” gently with a finger at the beginning of the day. . . . by the end of the day the lil LUI’s needed a little drink. . . . the soil surface was dry to the touch and the planters were light in weight. . . . since they’ve already received 3 feedings in their young lives we simply watered the whole bunch lightly but evenly with a single gallon of plain water. . . . Here’s today’s progress pic and a different look at the same plant. . . . the 2nd picture shows the “undergrowth” on the lower nodes.
