Cannabis Chronicles

It’s time to describe another online resource for medical users of cannabis and marijuana enthuiasts alike for the “link library” here at the 3LB’s Cannabis Chronicles. The cannabis eye website is a relatively new creation, it’s not much older than our own CannabisChronicles, but it does appear to be off to a good start. As an introduction, similar to what we did for ICMag and PlanetGanja, we’d like to let the folks behind CannabisEye speak for themselves.

Cannabiseye website is home of the Breeders Choice Seed Co and the Seeds of Resistance project. Breeders Choice are a collective of Cannabis conservationists, scientists, students and researchers of the species. We work to promote conservation and further research of the species through various projects and initiatives around the world. The seeds sold by Breeders Choice allow the C.eye team to invest profits in real preservation efforts in the heartlands of Cannabis cultivation.

Projects in ‘07

-Insitute Conservation and collection in the Hindu Kush region.
-Research and collection trip of Germaplasm in Brazil.
-Visit to Northern Brazil indigenous tribes
-Filming the ‘Cannabis Uncovered’ documentary in Nepal
-Various sponsorship programmes and grants to research and exploration by members of the community.
-Reinvestments of funds from sale of Cultivated Kush lines back into the region and the indigenous farmers of origin
-During the begining of the year the C.eye SoR project has been able to contribute funds as grants to two community members travelling in the heartlands of Cannabis Culture and these trips will be documented in time on the C.eye website. SoR operates a community chest seedbank. Where genetics can be deposited for ongoing preservation within the community. The SoR project allows for the sharing of seed stocks within the community without finiancial considerations. Principals of the C.eye Organisation

C.eye is commited to the Cannabis species, our mantra is to protect and preserve. We believe in the freedom of this plant which will allow its rightful place amongst the most useful of plant species known to man. To ensure this future the C.eye organisation works to preserve and protect genetics collected by our members around the world.

Foundation points of the Cannabieye Organisation

-Against the corporateisation of the Cannabis species
-Against the monopolies imposed on the species through the seed supply chanel
-Against the exploitation of traditional Cannabis farmers rights
-Against all laws and controls over mother natures assets
-To explore Cannabis and assist those where possible doing so
-To expand the knowledgebase of the species through collection and documentation of Landrace species in situ

-The C.eye SoR projects are community funded and supported initiatives. The Cannabiseye website, its seed stock assets, knowledge base and its good will are at the disposal of those within the Cannabis community dedicated to the preservation and protection of the species.
