Welcome to the 3LB’s Cannabis Chronicles

Welcome to “the 3LB’s Cannabis Chronicles”, an online blog/journal for medical herbalists, medical marijuana users, and their caretakers. This resource is provided for the benefit of the medical marijuana community, by the three_little_birds medicinal cannabis collective.

We hope to provide an interesting mix of content, featuring a variety of how-to guides for new medical users, as well as cannabis related news, and our own unique editorial commentary from the residents of the “bird’s-nest”. Of course, we’ll also be reviewing books that are relevant to the cannabis community, and perhaps we’ll even get around to discussing some of the various magazines and periodicals that target medical marijuana users. We’d like to eventually detail and profile some of the other online resources that exist for budding enthusiasts, since a wide variety of communities exist online to satisfy most any personality.

We eventually dream of recruiting a dedicated team of field testers to review products, a sort of Cannabis Consumer Reports, for lack of a better description. Additionally, an activist friend has agreed to provide us with some helpful guides for organizing and taking action to help end cannabis prohibition.

We also anticipate offering travelogues, and other exciting and insightful original content derived from collaborations with a group of dedicated preservationists who are working to conserve and protect cannabis diversity. We even hope some personalities and old friends from the cannabis community agree to being interviewed/profiled, to give a little history and insight into some of the usual (an unusual) individuals that make up the very diverse medical cannabis community

The3LB.com is designed to be the virtual home for the three_little_birds medical cannabis collective, and “the Cannabis Chronicles” is designed to be our “newsletter”. We hope our site will be a place where folks can come to learn some about the truths and the reality behind medical marijuana. We plan to tell it like it is, detailing the good and bad sides of the cannabis community and the movement to legitimize marijuana as medicine.

We hope to help individuals with a medicinal need for cannabis learn the how’s and why’s of this unique herbal medicine, so if they choose, they can safely and effectively manage their own personal medical conditions. Our goal is to provide a place where everyone can all grow a little, because if we all are learning while we are growing our medicines, then indeed we are also growing ourselves as individuals.

This site is dedicated to individuals who are registered and legitimate medical users, but even for individuals who have won the right to produce and consume their own medicine, we feel it’s necessary to issue a caution . . . please be very careful out there!

Because of Marijuana prohibition and the so called “War on Drugs” being waged in the United States, even relatively insignificant amounts of medicine can have substantial street value. While legally registered medical users may have protection from government persecution, that certification will NOT be any deterrent to thugs and criminals.

Also, please note that the right to Medical Marijuana is not legally observed in all countries. Individuals living in locations that do not currently allow the use, or production, of medicinal cannabis, are urged to use this site as an information resource only, until such a future time when individuals across the entire globe win the freedom to medicate with marijuana. We cannot in good conscience encourage individuals to break or disregard local laws regarding cannabis use or production.

Our collective is Canadian based, and we feel fortunate that Canadians are blessed by laws with some measure of understanding and compassion for individuals who need medicinal marijuana, but not everyone is so lucky. For the three_little_birds to encourage others to risk their own freedom, something that we can not and do not risk ourselves, would at best be hypocritical, and at worst could be seen as an act of irresponsibility, or even recklessness.

In the end only you, as an individual, together with your family, can decide how best to weigh the risks and benefit for yourself if you wish to take part in any act of civil disobedience. That’s doubly true when considering growing medicinal marijuana in locales where it is still prohibited.

Nice nest you have going here! I am a fan of ya all and started growing organic using all the information you had posted on the net. Even back then as a noobie, I heard the simple truths you taught and embraced them as my own.
